Heirloom Food Company
When we published our top-ten list of gluten-free menus in CT earlier this year, Heirloom Food Company was on it. We paid a visit to their comfy cafe and juice bar in Danielson this past week, 
and from the looks of things, they’re not leaving the list anytime soon.
Pretty much anything on their menu can be made gluten free, and they’ll prepare your order safely and separately. From sandwiches to soups, salads, and more, they’ve got vegan cheese available, and tons of other vegan options. Dessert? They’ve got tons of that, too, baked right onsite. Add in an awesome dining area with lots of nooks and crannies for chit chat and computer work, and you now have another reason to go explore the quiet corner of Connecticut. And, for all you Rhode Islanders who live near the border, get in the car and give this place a try. You’ll be glad you did.
