It’s All Good in the Kitchen is such a sweet find!  This dedicated gluten-free bakery and cafe in Salem, NH offers a wide variety of pastries, cakes, breads and cookies along with excellent coffee and smoothies.

How Did it All Begin?

The owners are a lovely couple who have put their hearts and souls into creating this gluten-free haven, which happened almost by accident.  Jacky Levine was a hairdresser who began baking GF cookies for a friend with celiac disease. Before long, she was bringing them into her salon for customers. She then began baking and selling her baked goodies from home and supplying to small businesses. In December 2017, Jacky and her partner Ron Geoffrey, a former air traffic controller, opened ‘It’s All Good In The Kitchen.’ Ron is now the shop’s barista (he makes a phenomenal latte), business manager and food photographer. He also organizes their busy schedule of craft fairs and food festivals.

Jacky formulated her own GF flour blend and dedicated a lot of time converting favorite family recipes to gluten free. The online menu lists only the basics, so be sure to stop in to see her daily creations, including freshly baked muffins and cinnamon rolls on Saturday mornings. She also offers special order cakes, pies, sandwich breads and sweet breads. Some can be made dairy free – just ask and order ahead!  Jacky has also created some fun take-offs on famous childhood treats, like peanut butter-filled “Funny Bonz.”

But don’t forget the coffee! Coffee flavors rotate weekly, and Ron can make pretty much any kind of espresso drink. There’s also matcha tea, iced chai and smoothies.

So whether you’re headed north out of Massachusetts, south from NH, or really traveling from any direction, stop in for a treat. It’s definitely all good in this kitchen!
