The Paris Creperie: Oui to Gluten Free!

Sometimes it’s difficult to be gluten free, but at The Paris Creperie, it’s simple, both literally and figuratively. They’ve got two locations, which are actually quite different. The cafe in Brookline is just that – a charming (and bustling!) cafe. The location in Boston’s Seaport district, described as an “Elevated Crepe Bar,” leans a little more to the swanky side, but both locations offer gluten-free buckwheat crepes, and can prepare your meal separately and safely.

The menu at the cafe is split into sweet and savory options, each with unique ingredients and clever names that’ll be sure to make you smile. From the John Gouda-man to Kale’n It, you’ll have as much fun reading the menu as you will eating it. The cafe also offers breakfast crepes, smoothies, and nutella drinks, both hot and frozen. They even have banana splits!  The Seaport location offers a more sophisticated (but still fun!) crepe menu, some of it in French, along with all sorts of cocktails and wine. They serve brunch as well.

Both Creperie locations are open from 8am to latenight, so they’ve got crepes for you, no matter the time of day. Although neither location is dedicated gluten free, they do understand how to prepare your meal safely, and they follow careful kitchen protocols. But, as always, inform your server about your dietary needs and always use your own judgement when eating out.

Bon Appetite!
