Giving Gluten Free

The Covid-19 pandemic has record numbers of people turning to food banks across the country. And, with larger numbers of people requesting gluten-free items, there’s a severe scarcity of supplies. The National Celiac Association (NCA), based in Needham, MA, wants to help stock food pantries across the country with gluten-free food, and you can help.

The NCA’s new initiative, Giving Gluten Free, encourages gluten-free brands and businesses to donate non-perishable products to be distributed to food pantries throughout the USA. They’re also accepting monetary donations from both individuals and companies to support the project.

All donations big and small are appreciated, and go directly to not only helping others eat, but to eat safely. If you are a gluten-free brand and can donate product, or if you’d like to make a monetary donation, please use the contact and link listed below. All brands contributing product will be thanked on the NCA’s social media, and will get a shout-out on Gluten-Free New England’s Instagram page.

No one is untouched by Covid-19, but even a small donation can help make life a little easier for those who are most economically affected. Thanks in advance for your support, and stay safe and well!
