Cassava Kitchen gluten-free pasta is not only good for your health, but also good for the planet, and founder Valdiny is committed to both. She grew up in Suriname (near Brazil), where cassava, a starchy root also known as yuca, was a pantry staple. Her mom made breads and rolls with the nutrient-dense flour, which is not only high in fiber, but contains B-complex vitamins, zinc, magnesium, copper, iron, manganese, and potassium, and has a low glycemic index as well. Cassava root crops are also drought tolerant, which is great for the environment. Valdiny’s passion to share this versatile, nutritious, and earth-friendly ingredient inspired her to create Cassava Kitchen gluten-free pasta and flour, with new products coming soon. Everything is certified gluten free, soy free, and vegan, and take it from us – the pasta texture and taste is incredible.
