10/26/24 BOSTON South Shore EXPO!

Boston South Shore Presentations and Demos

WICKED GLUTEN FREE ATTENDEE EXPO INFORMATION & TIPS
(applicable to all of our expos)

What exactly is at the expo?

  • Be ready to buy. 100+ booths of GF brands, bakeries, & businesses, plus celiac nonprofits. They’ll be sampling AND selling everything from cookies, cake mixes, waffles, brownies and breads to pasta, pierogi and calzones(frozen and hot).
  • Tons of samples – taste before you purchase!
  • Food Trucks + prepared food vendors – stay for lunch!
  • Presentations & demos right on the show floor – no need to leave the gluten-free party to attend a presentation
  • Kids play area – let the kids color, scooter, and Lego while you take a load off and/or enjoy lunch.
  • Photo area – document the day on the Wicked Gluten free red carpet!
  • Some products at the expo are available locally, and some are not, but that’s what makes it so special. Take advantage of the opportunity to sample before you buy and stock up!

Our expos are 95% food and highly curated to ensure the best experience for YOU

Vendors you will see – bakeries, snacks, breads, pizza crusts, protein bars, food trucks, granola, seasonings, meal starters, brownies, muffins, beverages, pierogi, restaurants, celiac non profits, & more

Vendors you won’t see – gutters/home services, candles, crystals, jewelry, apparel, salons, diet programs, toys, and anything else that’s not related to gluten free.

I’m celiac – what about safety?

  • Safety We take your health and safety very seriously, and are highly selective when it comes to exhibitors. We do allow exhibitors with shared facilities, but thoroughly vet them for cross-contamination protocols. All booths are clearly marked with the following, so that you can make your own decisions:
    • Dedicated GF
    • Dedicated GF and certified gluten free
    • Gluten-free products made in a shared facility, but thoroughly vetted for proper cross-contamination protocols. These are small businesses that use their own equipment, clean and sanitize thoroughly, and employ rigorous cross-contamination protocols.  Items from these kitchens may still be required to include a disclaimer on their labels. We encourage you to chat with them and decide for yourself if you’d like to sample and/or buy.
  • Gluten-containing foods are not permitted inside the venue on the day of the expo. Please no gluten-containing children’s snacks.
  • Allergens & labels  Though many of our exhibitors are allergen free, our events are not allergen free. Look for table tents at every booth, noting which allergens are present in any of the items. Labels are required for all pre-packaged items. For your safety, do not purchase or eat anything that may have slipped through unlabeled.
  • Tickets are available online and at the door beginning at 12pm.
  • To manage crowds, tickets are sold for specific admission hours. You may enter at your purchased admission time or later, and stay for as long as you like. Pre-purchased ticket holders are prioritized for entry. If an admission hour is sold out, there may be a wait to enter for folks buying tickets at the door. Historically, there has not been a wait to enter for folks purchasing at the door.
  • Free Passes If you win free passes, they’re valid for 11am or later only.
  • Don’t get scammed! Do not purchase tickets from anyone selling them on social media or otherwise. They’re all scammers selling invalid tickets which will not be accepted at the door.
  • Tote Bags All attendees receive a Wicked Gluten free tote bag, but only Early Bird ticket holders (10am tickets) receive a tote bag containing exclusive GF samples. Samples may vary.
  • Wristbands Be sure to grab a wristband at the door so that you can visit our outdoor food vendors or run purchases to the car.
  • Speaking of purchases, there will be lots of perishable & non-perishable food for sale – throw a cooler in the car!
  • Drinks will be available for purchase, but you are permitted to bring drinks into the venue. You may also bring food into the venue – gluten free only.
  • Strollers/wagons etc are permitted.
  • LINES – be ready for lines at certain booths. We do our best to place the most popular businesses in strategic areas, but locals do love their local brands. We appreciate your patience.
  • PARKING – We accommodate parking the best we can, using shuttles when necessary, and ensuring that it’s free.  Still, for most, there will be a walk from your car. If you have mobility issues, let us know before the expo, and we’ll figure it out for you.

5/5/24 Long Island Expo!

Our Boston North Shore Expo on 10/21/23 was FANTASTIC!

About us and our expos
  • We’re consumer expo pros. We’ve been doing gluten-free expos nonstop since 2016, and they’ve been growing in size and attendance ever since. We now draw 100+ exhibitors and 4,000-5,000 attendees per expo . (We even brought Rhode Island its first GF expo ever with our 2018 GF Holiday Fest)
  • We’re expanding! We’re excited to be expanding into NY and PA, with more cities to come.
  • Unique and interesting exhibitors are our specialty. We welcome national brands at our events, but we love artisans and startups, and ensure that our expos are accessible to all.
  • Expertly curated and 95% food You won’t see dog food, candles, essential oils, vitamins, cheese, direct sell reps, chiropractors, remodelers, gutters, massage and other unrelated booths at our expos.
  • Community support We’re all about community, so we offer free booths to as many celiac disease/gluten-free/food allergy nonprofits and services as possible.
  • Stay for lunch! We always have GF prepared food trucks, caterers, and hot food options available.
  • Comfortable seating to take a load off, eat lunch, or just chat and connect with other folks like you.
  • We’re kid friendly! Our kids space is perfect for the littles (and bigs!) to let off some steam and for parents to take a breather. Face painting, too!
  • FREE PARKING & strollers welcome!

Our 4/1/23 Connecticut expo was so000 much fun! Scroll down for pics!
