Four Seasons Market
Branford, you are one lucky town. Not only do you have Home Restaurant, which we reviewed earlier this year, but you also have Four Seasons Market. We stopped in on a Friday at lunchtime, and wished we hadn’t just eaten. The huge salad bar looked fresh and delicious, the hot food selection was bustling, and everything from deli sandwiches to stuffed breads(gluten-free!) were flying out the door. They bake all of their desserts in-store, rolling out multiple kinds of gluten-free treats, including biscotti, muffins, cookies, cakes, brownies, bars, and more. They also have fresh produce, groceries, and an enormous frozen and refrigerated section, with as many gluten-free products as we’ve ever seen in one place. There’s a lovely windowed dining area and an outdoor patio to enjoy your purchases, or you can get anything to go, from prepared meals to a quick snack. Four Seasons has a tremendous number of gluten-free customers, and with this kind of deliciousness, it’s clear why!
