Gluten Free Cromwell: If you’re gluten free and as busy as we are, then you, too will appreciate La Piastra’s new store in Cromwell. A self-described “gourmet to-go and catering” place, at least half of their prepared foods are always gluten free. This means gluten-free chicken tenders, lasagna, fish tacos, chicken lettuce wraps, pulled pork, quinoa salads, the list goes on. Some of their stuff is frozen, some is refrigerated, and all of it is delicious. They also carry a ton of Dee’s One Smart Cookie desserts, they use Dee’s crusts to make frozen pizzas, and they carry DePuma’s pasta as well. All of their prepared foods are made fresh, and the menu, easily found on their website, rotates monthly. May’s specials include black bean and corn quinoa, pineapple chili glazed beef brisket, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, soups, sauces, and more.

So whether you need to cater a wedding, a party, or just tonight’s dinner, La Piastra has you covered, and deliciously!
