Maggie McFly’s has always been one of our favorites. With 5 locations in Connecticut and another opening this fall, they have a huge menu, dedicated fryers, and are committed to sourcing locally. The best part? They’re doing takeout!
Offerings are perfectly pub style, from chicken wings and nachos from the dedicated fryer, to pastas, sandwiches, burgers, fries, fried chicken, mac and cheese, seafood, steaks, soups and more. Â The menu reads like a book with recognition of the local farms and artisans they use to source ingredients. There are also numerous items marked with a “GF,” so take time to appreciate it! Â There’s also a great kids menu which includes GF chicken fingers, and they always have a gluten-free cupcake from Hardcore Sweet Bakery available for dessert, which is a huge bonus.
Maggie McFly’s has been providing gluten-free options and dedicated fryers for many years now, and they are well-versed in kitchen safety.
So, if you live in Connecticut and you’re looking for some fun takeout or a Mother’s Day feast, go give Maggie McFly’s some love – they’ll love you right back. And, if you don’t live in CT, add Maggie’s to your list for the next time you’re traveling through. It’s totally worth a stop.
*Maggie McFly’s is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, but they do take great care in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. Always use your own judgement when eating out.
