Based in Columbus, Ohio, Jeni’s operates ice cream shops across the middle and eastern US (none in New England yet), making ice cream the way all ice cream should be made. Founder Jeni Britton Bauer believes that you can grow a business as a community of people, and continuously improve. She makes it her business to know the people she’s buying from, and sources nearly 100% of her ingredients from within 200 miles of Columbus. Jeni’s is also a certified B Corp, and has successfully diverted more than 100 tons of waste from landfills. FUN FACT: 95% of what you purchase in Jeni’s ice cream shops is reusable, recyclable, or compostable.
