Gluten-Free Philly Cheesesteak in Rhode Island? Try Tilly’s Cheesesteaks! Tilly’s has two locations in Providence and South Kingstown, with the Providence location using a separate grill-top and a dedicated fryer. Â Due to COVID, both locations are currently offering pick-up or delivery only.
The menu is actually quite varied. Of course there are plenty of cheesesteak options, all available on Udi’s sub rolls. And take it from us, Udi’s is exactly what these packed gluten-free cheesesteaks need. The best part? The Providence location offers vegan queso, so your entire meal can be both gluten and dairy free!
The menu at both locations offers burgers, cold cut sandwiches, salads, milkshakes, fries and also an extensive list of sodas, floats, beer, cider, canned wines and more, also available for pick-up or delivery.

Co-owner and chef Jonathan Beres, a RI resident, is committed to bringing the best Philly cheesesteaks to the Ocean State. The menu has a decidedly southwest flare, and they source locally as often as possible. And, as he has gluten-free and vegan family members, there are always vegan and safe gluten-free options as well.
As of this writing, both Tilly’s Cheesesteak locations are currently for takeout and delivery only. Orders must be placed online ahead of time; walk-ins are not permitted. So whether you need a quick meal for the family or are getting an early start on Super Bowl, Tilly’s for the win!
