Tucker’s Breakfast and Lunch does exactly what us gluten-free folks would want them to do. They offer healthy, organic options, many locally sourced ingredients, and, most importantly, gluten-free pancakes.
Tucker’s is locally owned by NH residents Erica Cole-Tucker and Hale Cole-Tucker. When they opened their first location in 2014, their mission was to create a place for “good eats” and “great people,” and it worked. Seven years later they have 5 locations, with their sixth opening at the end of the month. (see all locations below)
Nearly everything on the breakfast menu is available gluten free, from skillets to “Bennies” to breakfast sandwiches, bowls, pancakes, and french toast. They also offer seasonal specials, many of which can be prepared gluten free as well – just ask. The lunch menu is full of fun sandwich options like the Parisian, the Austin, Cajun chicken, Veggie Caprese, and more. They also offer bowls and salads, and they source as many local ingredients as possible. Most of all, they’re super careful in the kitchen.
One of the best things about eating at Tucker’s, other than the gluten-free options, is the people. Owners Erica and Hale hire only the best staff, and they treat them well. They also aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and are on a first-name basis with many of their customers at multiple locations.
So, if you’re looking for an excellent and safe gluten-free breakfast in New Hampshire, check out Tucker’s Breakfast and Lunch locations, and if you’re lucky, there’ll be one nearby. If there isn’t, go anyway. It’s worth the drive.
