What’s gluten-free at Chipotle? We’ll tell you. Chipotle was started in 1993, and now has over 500 locations in the United States. Most of the menu is inherently gluten free and the staff will change their gloves at your request, but of course they’re not dedicated gluten-free facilities.
As of this writing, Chipotle, which originated in Denver, CO, has begun a trial run of cauliflower rice in 55 restaurants in Denver & Wisconsin. The cauliflower rice is made in-store with grilled cauliflower, fresh cilantro, lime and salt. And, at only 50 calories per serving, it’s a great addition to the other healthy choices at the restaurant chain.
*Each Chipotle location varies in terms of safety, so always use your own judgement when eating out.
