El Cortijo Taqueria

Looking for safe gluten free Mexican in Burlington? El Cortijo is the place. With two locations in VT, they describe themselves as “farm-to-taco” dining. While El Cortijo doesn’t have a separate gluten free menu, almost everything they serve is gluten free, AND they have a dedicated gluten free fryer – so you can eat the chips! With the exception of their burritos in a flour tortilla, us GF folks can have almost everything they serve: tacos, enchiladas, burrito bowls and more…yum! They serve brunch, as well, and we’re told they make a mean Bloody Mary using their own homemade (and safe!) mix.
