Subway – Barkhamsted

The owners of Subway in Barkhamsted and North Canaan are not gluten free, but they get it. They order one case of individually-wrapped gluten free sub rolls every month, and split them between their two locations. They store them in the freezer, and they’ll toast it first if you prefer. For celiac customers, they will gladly put on fresh gloves and ensure that one person handles your sandwich from beginning to end. The facility is not dedicated gluten free, but they do have celiac customers and a well trained staff.  (Gluten Free Barkhamsted)
