Spinnaker’s

In the summer of 2019, Spinnaker’s in Welles, Maine added a dedicated gluten-free fryer. They also added dedicated gluten-free prep tables, bowls, baskets, and serving trays. And you know what that means –  they now serve an array of gluten-free fried seafood including clams, clams, scallops, haddock, and shrimp. They also have fries, buns for sandwiches and lobster rolls, and plenty of other inherently gluten-free sides. Spinnaker’s also offers gluten-free chowder, burgers, sandwiches, a kids’ menu, ice cream and milkshakes, and more. That’s classic New England!  They’re not a dedicated gluten-free facility, but they practice excellent kitchen protocol. Always use your own judgement when eating out. (Gluten Free Fried Seafood)
