Karoo Restaurant has a large menu full of clearly marked gluten-free options. There are shrimp, chicken, pork and lamb dishes, with varying sauces and preparation styles from South Africa and beyond. They also offer sandwiches on GF rolls, and lots of fun side dishes too, including hummus and GF pita. Karoo has food prep protocols in place to avoid cross-contamination – be sure to inform your server before ordering. But they do NOT use a dedicated fryer, so steer clear of all fried foods, including the Indian fritters (rats!) Not a dedicated GF facility.
