Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar

Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar, is, according to their website, a “funky neighborhood joint located on West Broadway in South Boston that specializes in tacos, raw bar, and tequila.” That about sums it up – but what they don’t mention is that the entire menu, except for 2 items, is gluten free. That means all of their fried food from chicken to cheese to tortilla chips is made in a dedicated gluten free fryer, and is safe. And their offerings are so much fun – you can get grilled oysters, tacos, all kinds of guac, steak skewers, street corn and more. They even serve brunch! The menu is clearly labeled with gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy items, but always chat with your server before ordering, just to be safe. But if you’re looking for celiac-safe Mexican food in Boston, this is it!
