The Sono Baking Company – Darien

Sono Baking Company has 3 locations, and for this Fairfield County should be very grateful.  The regular menus have a nice assortment of quinoa and green salads, but they do not have GF bread for sandwiches.  However, you may not care about the bread, as their assortment of GF desserts is beautiful. From chocolate covered macaroons, vegan cookies and flourless chocolate cake, to Sarah Bernhardt cookies and chocolate torte, it’s a GF dessert lover’s paradise. Call for the day’s GF offerings, if you’re looking for something in particular. SoNo is not a dedicated gluten-free bakery, so be aware of the potential for cross-contamination.
