Tavern in the Square
Tavern in the Square has several locations in MA and one in Cranston, RI. They’re great for us gluten free diners, because they make all their flour-based products using corn flour, rice bran oil, domestic distilled vinegar (corn derived). This means that many of their menu items – like nachos, chips and dip, wings, and fried pickles – are already GF! Other items, like pizza and burgers/sandwiches, can be served to you on a GF crust, bun, or bread. They’ll even toast your GF bun for you in its own saute pan, instead of using the regular toaster. Menus vary slightly between locations, so do check online to make sure your location offers your favorite dishes. The Cranston location of Tavern in the Square just opened in fall of 2018.
